5 Top Brunch Spots in the Fraser Valley

The Fraser Valley offers some of the best cheap eats around, and with the beginning of Fall upon us, there is no better time to enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee and a fresh cooked brunch from one of the cosy restaurants this picturesque region has to offer.

1. Joseph Richard Group

JRG Brunch Sausages Egg Toast

There are 12 JRG Public Houses in the Fraser Valley offering great food at great prices. I stopped by Oceanside Public House and found one of the best cheap eats in the region. Their $5 house special of eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, and specialty Yukon gold home fries was a perfect, and affordable, way to start my morning. JRG Public Houses offer a brunch menu on weekends and holidays until 3pm at the following locations;

2. Tim Horton’s

When I’m on the run, I stop by Tim Hortons for my coffee and bagel. This convenient breakfast option is available in locations all over the Fraser Valley. You’ll be sure to find one just a stone throws away.

3. De Dutch

Want something a little different to start your mornings? I love how pannekoeken from De Dutch gives you an international flavour experience without the travel. For those with a sweet tooth (like me) or those without, pannekoeken comes in both sweet and savoury varieties.

For a classic pancake breakfast, IHOP has you covered. They offer everything from an Original Full Stack to Italian Cannoli Pancakes. I can’t go past a stack of their delicious double blueberry pancakes on a Sunday morning.

5. Canyon Alpine Restaurant

If you’re up for a morning adventure, why not have your breakfast served with one of the best views in the Fraser Valley? One of my favourite breakfast locations when I am up bright and early is the Canyon Alpine Restaurant is located along the beautiful Trans-Canada Highway, just North of Boston Bar.

No matter what type of breakfast you are after, the Fraser Valley has an option for you. So, pull on your Fall boots and get out to try them for yourself.
