JRG strives to take part in Community events local to our businesses. We’re always on board to do everything we can to ensure that the local community is strong, prosperous, and a lot of fun! Whether we show up in our booth or lend support in other ways, you can count on us.
No group is turned down! The communities in which we live and do business are everything to us. As such, JRG Public Houses are proud to offer Group Sponsorship to every school, charity, cause, event and team that applies. All you have to do is fill out the form, there’s no cost, no commitment, and you’ll be able to start right away.
If your group needs an influx of funds, we have the fix. You can raise thousands by hosting your fundraiser at a JRG Public House… there’s no deposit required, no costs to you, and a range of flexible options available to ensure that your event is the very best.
Tens of thousands each year are donated by the Joseph Richard Group of Companies through our Sponsorship and Fundraising initiatives as well as through our annual Community Day Fundraiser, and the work we do with the BC Cancer Society, The BC Covenant House, and the many local Food Banks in the communities that we operate.
Our philanthropic mission is based on the following statistics provided by the charitable groups we support and we hope our fundraising efforts will help prevent and reduce the number of youth who are suffering.
The Joseph Richard Group partners with local charities to help raise funds for vulnerable youth in our cities and Province. The team sleeps outside for one night placing them in a vulnerable situation to raise awareness for those in need. The charitable organizations involved are: Youth Unlimited, Covenant House, Variety – The Children’s Charity, and Dream City Centre.
We encourage nominations for our local heroes in our community to be recognized for the work they do. In appreciation of their time and commitment, we reward them with a gift. From teachers to firefighters to police officers and amateur sport coaches, our communities depend on these people every day and we just want to offer a bite or a beer as a small token of our appreciation.
