We are proud to work in partnership with Stanley Park Brewing to participate in the National Chowder Chowdown Festival for the entire month of February! A portion of proceeds from every chowder sold will be donated to the Ocean Wise Seafood program to support oceans that are healthy and flourishing for generations to come.
Chef Nathan Taylor at Stanley Park Brewpub has created the winning (we think!) chowder called “You’ve Been Schooled”. It’s an Ocean Wise honey mussel and steel head salmon chowder with saffron potato foam and crispy oyster cracker. Pair it with the Park Sesh Lager by Stanley Park Brewing as recommended by Brewmaster Bennie.
“You’ve Been Schooled” sustainable chowder will be available for dine-in or take-out for $7 per cup from Stanley Park Brewpub for the entire month of February and every cup sold equals a donation to the not-for-profit Ocean Wise Seafood program. This national event not only supports the hospitality industry but more importantly celebrates seafood sustainability.
